Your Mission as an Export Sales Manager
As the Export Sales Manager, your mission is to spearhead Danone's export growth in Libya by driving the sales strategy, managing distributor relationships, and executing strategic projects. Your role will be crucial in strengthening the company’s sales fundamentals and achieving net sales targets in line with annual operating plans.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as Export Sales Manager
- Drive export channel sales growth and achieve key performance metrics such as Net Sales (NS) and Return on Sales (ROS).
- Manage and develop relationships with distributors, ensuring best-in-class distributor management practices.
- Lead export plans from strategy to execution, focusing on channel growth and market penetration.
- Develop joint business plans (JBPs) with distributors, assessing and improving performance scorecards.
- Support brand portfolio development and expand value chains to fit market growth needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as Export Sales Manager
- 6+ years in a similar role, preferably in FMCG or the food industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in negotiation, problem-solving, attention to detail, key account management, and reporting.
- Proficient in English, with knowledge of the Libyan market considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Libya.
- Knowledge of the local food products manufacturing sector, with a preference for candidates from Alnassem or similar companies.

Working Hours: Full-time, 9 to 5, Sunday to Thursday.
