Your Mission as a Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer, your primary goal will be to market and sell our products and services, including Ingersoll Rand offerings, ensuring the achievement of sales targets. You will be key in driving the company’s revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and strengthening the company’s presence in the market.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as Sales Engineer
- Market and sell the company’s and Ingersoll Rand products, contributing to revenue growth by meeting sales targets.
- Follow up on sales inquiries, quotes, and orders, securing new business to grow market share.
- Collect and analyze market data to identify new opportunities for business expansion.
- Conduct regular client visits to ensure comprehensive market coverage and increased awareness of our offerings.
- Promote the company’s marketing materials, ensuring our products and services are well-positioned in the market.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to improve service offerings and boost market penetration.
- Liaise with suppliers on sales inquiries and orders to maintain steady revenue growth.
- Manage receivables, ensuring that clients adhere to agreed credit terms.
- Provide regular sales activity reports to management to keep targets aligned with company objectives.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as Sales Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Extensive experience in technical sales, specifically with Ingersoll Rand products.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid customer relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
