Responsibilities:
As a Content Team Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Utilise an “adopt, adapt, create” methodology for content development.
Develop and execute a holistic SEO content strategy, collaborating with the in-house SEO team and external content partners.
Conduct detailed analysis and reporting of digital performance trends and SEO metrics to inform senior stakeholders.
Use data-driven insights to make strategic adjustments, continuously evolving to match the changing digital landscape.
Perform competitive research, technical audits, and keyword analysis to uncover trends and create actionable recommendations.
Act as the on-site SEO specialist, ensuring websites deliver optimal performance in terms of SEO, load speed, and search core vitals.
Lead off-page SEO initiatives, such as link-building campaigns.
Collect and analyse traffic data, rankings, domain authority, site performance, and other key SEO factors.
Stay informed on algorithm changes and integrated marketing trends, such as featured snippets, voice-to-text search, and Google's evolving requirements.
Provide ongoing SEO guidance, sharing best practices proactively across the team.
Design and implement SEO experiments, minimising any adverse impact on overall performance.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in content creation and strategy development for large-scale digital projects.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to generate innovative content ideas that support and enhance the company’s brand identity.
- Strong writing, communication, and editorial judgement skills.
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CDN, Google AMP, and content management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with precision and attention to detail.
