A forward-thinking Independent academy in Islington seeks a creative Design and Technology (D&T) Teacher to inspire students in their design and manufacturing skills. This permanent, full-time position commences in September, providing the opportunity for a passionate Design and Technology (D&T) Teacher to guide students through design processes up to GCSE level. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging D&T lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' design and manufacturing skills.
- Guide students through GCSE coursework, ensuring their success in design projects and examinations.
- Utilise a variety of design software and manufacturing techniques.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the D&T curriculum.
- Lead extracurricular activities such as design competitions and projects. We want a Design and Technology (D&T) Teacher with these abilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
- PGCE or QTS.
- Proven experience teaching D&T at the secondary level. We need an experienced Design and Technology (D&T) Teacher for this role.
