The Role:
- Teaching a Year 2 class, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages pupil progress.
- Assessing and monitoring student development, providing tailored support where needed.
- Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning.
- Contributing to the wider school community through planning, meetings, and school initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has proven experience teaching KS1, particularly Year 2.
- Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning, with a child-centred approach.
- Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Possesses excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
