We are seeking a creative Drama Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Haringey from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring drama lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons, focusing on acting, improvisation, and stagecraft.
- Prepare students for performances and assessments.
- Develop students' confidence, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the drama curriculum and resources.
- Organise and potentially lead drama-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama.
- Proven experience in teaching drama at secondary level.
- Strong acting, directing, and theatrical experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
