About the Science Teacher Role

Join our vibrant team at a well-established secondary school in Wolverhampton, where you'll have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially 5, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
As a Science Teacher, you will engage students in the wonders of science, fostering critical thinking and scientific inquiry. You’ll contribute to the academic development of our students in a dynamic, forward-thinking department.
Science Teacher Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
- Differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of all students
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create and maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including science clubs and school events
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with a passion for science
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level
