🚀We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects, with a focus on drywall and metal stud framing. Working closely with the Project Manager, this role involves collaborating with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors to assist in scheduling, budgeting, compliance, and resource coordination throughout all construction phases. This position is ideal for professionals eager to grow into senior leadership roles by gaining hands-on project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support & Coordination:
- Assist in defining project scope, deliverables, and schedules.
- Support acquisition of permits, approvals, and regulatory documentation.
- Track and report on project progress, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor labor compliance and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management:
- Assist with subcontractor selection, coordination, and communication.
- Review and help manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and quality adherence.
- Cost & Resource Management:
- Assist in budget tracking and cost control to keep projects within approved budgets.
- Support procurement of materials and services, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Document Control & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, schedules, and daily reports.
- Use construction management software to track milestones and issues.
- Help generate progress reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Coordinate efforts between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Communicate with the project team to address challenges and solutions.
- Contribute to strong client relationships through clear communication and problem-solving.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years’ experience in construction project management support, ideally in drywall and metal stud framing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, On-Screen Take Off, Quick Bid, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, safety standards, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with contract documents and project financial controls is a plus.
