About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join an Outstanding girls school in Harrow from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal Chemistry Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a qualified Chemistry Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and practical assessments.
- Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills in Chemistry.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the chemistry curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead chemistry-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Chemistry.
- Proven experience in teaching chemistry at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
