Textiles Teacher – Sixth Form College – Birmingham

An Outstanding sixth-form college in Birmingham is seeking a skilled and creative Textiles Teacher to join their department. This is a full-time, permanent position for a Textiles Teacher.

Textiles Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Textiles lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Textiles department.
Be part of an Outstanding team of Textiles Teachers.

Textiles Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A degree in Textiles, Fashion, or a closely related subject.
Proven experience teaching Textiles at the secondary or post-16 level.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The desire to work as a Textiles Teacher.
