An Outstanding sixth-form college in Birmingham requires a creative and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their department. This is a full-time, permanent Food Teacher position teaching Key Stage 5.
Food Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Food Technology department.

Food Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a closely related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary or post-16 level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The desire to work as a Food Teacher.
