🎯 Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will help students develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving, preparing them for the challenges of Upper Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Delivering engaging, interactive, and challenging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
✅ Developing pupils’ confidence and independence, preparing them for Year 6
✅ Assessing and tracking progress, providing targeted support to ensure every child reaches their potential
✅ Encouraging a love of learning through creative and cross-curricular activities
✅ Fostering a positive and respectful classroom culture, where every child feels valued
✅ Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student success
✅ Contributing to school life by participating in events, staff meetings, and professional development
🎓 What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic teacher who:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience in Key Stage 2
✔ Is passionate about inspiring young learners, particularly in Year 5
✔ Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, including English, Maths, and Science
✔ Can differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners
✔ Is a team player with excellent communication skills
✔ Is committed to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom
