Your Role as HLTA:
🔹 Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons to KS1 or KS2 students.
🔹 Lead small group interventions and 1:1 support to help students make significant progress.
🔹 Take responsibility for specific areas of learning, including literacy, numeracy, and behaviour management.
🔹 Provide support to students with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and engage fully in class activities.
🔹 Assist in the development and implementation of tailored lesson plans, providing constructive feedback and observations.
🔹 Foster a positive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to be independent, confident learners.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or in a similar support role within a primary school.
✅ A patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to working with children.
✅ Strong knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curricula and experience with differentiation.
✅ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
✅ A commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
