Your Role as a Drama Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver dynamic drama lessons that engage and inspire students, using creative approaches to learning.
🔹 Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of students, supporting their emotional and social development through the arts.
🔹 Encourage self-expression and build confidence through drama activities, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
🔹 Support students in developing their communication, collaboration, and performance skills in a variety of drama-related tasks.
🔹 Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and implementing interventions to help students reach their potential.
🔹 Build strong relationships with students, offering mentorship and support to help them succeed both in and outside the classroom.
🔹 Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of the broader curriculum and promote students' personal growth.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
✅ Experience teaching drama at secondary level (experience in a PRU or alternative education setting is advantageous).
✅ A creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching students with a variety of needs and challenges.
✅ Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in a dynamic learning environment.
✅ A passion for the arts and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
