Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:
🔹 Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities for students.
🔹 Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
🔹 Help students with special educational needs (SEN), providing additional guidance and assistance as required.
🔹 Support students’ social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and building confidence.
🔹 Assist in monitoring student progress, helping to track achievements and areas for improvement.
🔹 Help create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and motivated.
🔹 Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure each child’s educational needs are met.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (or in a similar role) within a primary school setting is preferred but not essential.
✅ A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with young learners.
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
✅ A passion for supporting children’s learning and helping them achieve their best.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
