Your Role as a KS1 Class Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of KS1 students with SEN.
🔹 Use a range of communication and teaching strategies to support children with autism, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties.
🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
🔹 Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
🔹 Track student progress and implement EHCP targets effectively.
🔹 Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
🔹 Support students' social, emotional, and communication development through creative and multi-sensory learning approaches.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or SEN specialism preferred.
✅ Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in KS1 or Early Years.
✅ A patient, nurturing, and adaptable teaching style to support diverse learning needs.
✅ A strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated learning, and behaviour management strategies.
✅ Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance student learning and development.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
