Your Role as a Science Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, accessible Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting content to meet student needs.
🔹 Differentiate teaching strategies to support students with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, and other additional needs.
🔹 Foster a positive and structured classroom environment that encourages learning and resilience.
🔹 Work closely with pastoral teams, SENCOs, and support staff to provide a holistic educational experience.
🔹 Build strong relationships with students, helping to boost confidence and motivation in science.
🔹 Assess and track student progress, implementing strategies to ensure continual development.
🔹 Encourage students to explore practical, hands-on science activities to enhance engagement and understanding.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✅ Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4, ideally in an alternative provision, PRU, or SEN setting.
✅ A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to working with students facing challenges.
✅ Strong knowledge of differentiation techniques and behaviour management strategies.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
