Your Role as a KS2 Primary Class Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of KS2 students with SEN.
🔹 Use a range of teaching strategies to engage students with various learning styles, ensuring they make progress in all areas of their education.
🔹 Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and encouraged to do their best.
🔹 Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff to provide a holistic approach to supporting students’ learning and development.
🔹 Track and monitor student progress through regular assessments and adjust teaching methods to meet their needs.
🔹 Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s learning journey.
🔹 Promote students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development, creating a safe and supportive space for them to flourish.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary education specialism preferred.
✅ Experience teaching KS2 students, ideally with SEN experience.
✅ A patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching approach.
✅ Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching, SEN best practices, and effective classroom management strategies.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with a range of staff and external professionals.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
