Our client is a leading tower company in Saudi Arabia, undertaking a Data Governance Solution Implementation Project. This initiative aims to align with SDAIA's NDMO standards, which resemble the DAMA framework, ensuring compliance with local data governance regulations.
ROLE
Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to play a critical role in safeguarding enterprise data assets and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. The specialist will work on implementing security measures, assessing risks, and supporting the organization’s data governance initiative by aligning cybersecurity strategies with SDAIA’s NDMO standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and frameworks in alignment with NDMO standards and industry best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure secure data management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead cybersecurity awareness programs and training initiatives for employees.
• Monitor security incidents, respond to breaches, and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to enhance security controls and integrate cybersecurity best practices into enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Ensure the organization’s cybersecurity maturity aligns with recognized frameworks.
REQUIREMENTS
• 7+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of data governance, information security policies, and industry standards.
• Experience with security tools, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ability to drive cybersecurity transformation within an organization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Management, digital transformation, or enterprise consulting.
