Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5.
- Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and support student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, enthusiasm, and a love for learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery and share best practices.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regularly, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities as required.
Year 5 Teacher Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in Year 5 or a similar primary setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
- A team-oriented approach and flexibility to work collaboratively.
