About the Role:
As a Technical Specialist for Software Build Environments, you will play a vital role within the global DevOps team, empowering project teams with advanced tools and practices. You will deliver impactful training, create comprehensive documentation, and provide hands-on support to onboard project teams onto a global build framework. You will continuously challenge existing systems to innovate and drive next-generation solutions that elevate both customer and internal user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide and support project teams as they onboard onto the global Bazel build framework.
Serve as a trusted advisor on best practices and efficient use of Bazel.
Develop and deliver engaging training sessions and detailed documentation for project teams.
Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with a strong network of colleagues to find effective solutions.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and evolve the build environment to support cutting-edge developments in mobility technology.
Your Profile:
Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience with scripting languages and confidence working with C/C++ codebases.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with build environments and source code/configuration management systems such as Bazel, Make, CMake, GIT, Jira, and Docker.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support global teams.
