Full Stack Engineer – Logistics and Inventory Systems
Location: Remote (from Poland & Romania)
Contract: 6 months (possibility to extend)
A leading US-based retail platform is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their global technology team. The company delivers cutting-edge solutions in the logistics and inventory domain, supporting critical areas such as outbound logistics, reverse logistics, inventory adjustments, and real-time inventory counting. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and support systems that directly improve operational efficiency for store employees across the business.
You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders based in the United States, as well as collaborate with global contractors in a highly Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable solutions: Build high-performing, reusable components and ensure applications are responsive and user-friendly.
- Write clean, tested code: Implement automated testing and debugging to deliver seamless experiences.
- Support Agile delivery: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Contribute to team goals and mentor junior developers.
- Cloud-native development: Design, build, and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes and AWS. Optimize performance and scalability.
- Implement monitoring tools: Use New Relic, Splunk, and other tools to monitor application health and resolve issues quickly.
- Leverage real-time data: Work with Kafka and event-driven architectures to enable real-time data streaming and messaging.
- Ensure security and performance: Apply cloud security best practices and optimize cloud networking for secure and reliable systems.
- Manage platform updates: Lead upgrades, infrastructure updates, and migrations with minimal disruption to business operations.
