Head of Technical Production, Japan
SeenThis Japan is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Head of Technical Production, Japan to join our team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be part of a fast-paced tech scale-up with a newly established Tokyo office. You’ll work closely with the SeenThis Japan sales team on campaigns for top brands, advertisers, and publishers, creating standout HTML5 ads using the SeenThis CMS and Studio. Additionally, you will establish and lead a local AdOps team to support the increasing demand for SeenThis products and services in Japan.

The Role
To thrive in this role, you should have a strong coding background (CSS, HTML, and JavaScript) and a natural talent for design and video editing. Your day-to-day will involve producing HTML5 banners, using your creativity to challenge the status quo and impress our clients. You will collaborate with the sales team to troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance on the best creative approaches, ensuring that client briefs are delivered on time with exceptional attention to detail and execution.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a pro-active, deadline-focused individual who is comfortable multitasking with technical accuracy and execution. You will have excellent communication skills and have natural aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting. You will report directly to the Head of Sales in Japan.
Requirements
- Advanced Level knowledge in HTML / CSS / Javascript
- Intermediate/Advanced Level in Adobe Photoshop
- Intermediate Level in After Effects / Premiere Pro
- Minimum 3 years working in creative production / coding role
- Fluent in Japanese and intermediate knowledge of English
Good to have
- Experience in AdTech / Adops
- Knowledge of Adserver ecosystem
Location
Ideally we see that the candidate is located or willing to relocate to Tokyo.
If the candidate is an ideal fit for SeenThis, we can be flexible on this requirement, provided they are able to work within Japanese business hours.
