DevOps Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, scaling, and automation of our payment systems, which handle both fiat and cryptocurrency transactions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our payment gateways, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our blockchain nodes, CI/CD pipelines, and overall production environment.

✍️ Your daily tasks will be
- Deploy, monitor, and manage blockchain nodes for various cryptocurrencies. Ensure high availability, performance, and security, while adhering to network standards and compliance regulations
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions for secure and rapid deployment of payment services and blockchain updates
- Use Terraform and Ansible to automate the provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure components on both AWS and Hetzner environments
- Collaborate with developers to optimize the payment system infrastructure that processes both crypto and fiat transactions, ensuring low-latency and high-availability services
- Develop and implement monitoring systems for crypto nodes, APIs, and payment gateways, ensuring system health and proactive incident management
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure the infrastructure adheres to best practices, especially around crypto wallets, blockchain nodes, and sensitive financial data
- Deploy and manage containerized microservices using Kubernetes (EKS) for AWS and Nomad for orchestration across environments
- Manage service discovery and configuration using Consul for service mesh and Packer for creating machine images
- Continuously improve the performance and scalability of our payment processing infrastructure, focusing on transaction speed, node syncing, and resource utilization
- Work closely with software engineers, and product teams to build and maintain highly resilient systems for seamless payment processing.
✔️ What we expect from you
- 3-5 years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure role
- Hands-on experience managing blockchain nodes (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum) and integrating them with payment systems
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes
- Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
- Extensive experience with AWS and Hetzner infrastructure
- Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and Nomad for container orchestration and scaling
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch
- Understanding of security principles in a payments environment, especially around cryptographic processes and blockchain security
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go for automating tasks and building tools
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Previous experience in iGaming is a plus.
