The Manager Safety is responsible for assisting and supporting the Head of Safety in the implementation and maintenance of the Safety Management System.
🚀 Your mission will be:
- Develop, administer, and maintain an effective Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the Management System Manual
- Maintain SMS documentation and ensure training meets required standards
- Store SMS records, occurrence reports, and Flight Data Monitoring data
- Facilitate hazard identification, risk analysis, and management
- Monitor and report on risk mitigation actions
- Provide periodic safety performance reports to the Accountable Manager and organization
- Advise on safety matters and coordinate with operational managers on risk management
- Act as the focal point for safety issues
- Initiate and follow up on internal occurrence/accident investigations
- Coordinate mandatory occurrence reporting with regulatory authorities
- Liaise with the Estonian CAA and other relevant regulatory bodies, especially when acting as deputy.
⭐ Must-haves for success:
- 5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry
- Sufficient English language proficiency to read and fully comprehend applicable
international regulations, standards, and manuals
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Strong leadership traits
- Knowledge of maintenance methods gained through formalized training courses of Part-CAMO and Part-M
- Relevant knowledge and experience in management systems (compliance and safety management), risk management, and operations within Xfly or a comparable organization.
