Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting to join their finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciliations, ledger management, and financial reporting, while working closely with a finance consultant. Responsibilities:
As an Accountant, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately.
Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis, guaranteeing accuracy in financial data.
Prepare and post journal entries, including prepayments, accruals, cost allocations, and forex transactions.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, supporting the finance team in achieving timely reporting.
Assist in the preparation of management and financial statements for internal and third-party clients.
Collaborate with tax and audit teams, providing essential financial information and support.
Prepare and upload payment instructions via remote banking systems, adhering to company procedures.
Stay updated with relevant accounting regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements:
Education: A Level or Diploma in Accountancy or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
