Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Accountant with extensive experience in the foreign exchange (FX) markets to join our finance team. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, coupled with expertise in FX transactions, to support our financial operations and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping for multiple entities within the group.
- Prepare management accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for group companies.
- Calculate and process tax and VAT filings accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of compliance reports for CySEC and central bank regulations.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other business stakeholders.
- Oversee and execute the entire payroll cycle for the organization.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Fluent or native English speaker (C1 level) with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience with SAP Business One is advantageous.
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or active progress toward certification) is a plus.
- Previous experience in the Forex industry and familiarity with CySEC reporting are highly valued.
- Hands-on experience managing the full payroll cycle and understanding relevant legislation is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage high transaction volumes effectively.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
