Qualifications and requirements
- The applicant should possess a university degree in general agriculture or horticulture.
- Must have 4 years' work experience with reputable crop protection companies.
- Should have the ability to define problems and collect relevant information.
- Ability to make sound business judgements while networking with relevant officials, experts, decision makers and stakeholders.
- Willingness to deliver sustainable solutions to customers, while achieving business goals.
- Should have highest levels of integrity and management skills sets to ensure good teamwork, high productivity, self and functional discipline, reliability,
- Great customer relations and high drive for constant improvement.
- Proficient with MS Suite.
Job Scope
- Achieve company set objectives and sales targets, in assigned geographical areas.
- Create and close sales deals with large commercial farmers, agro-dealers and channel partners.
- Propose, arrange and coordinate appropriate technical and marketing activities including business pitching, customer support training and media interviews.
- Maintain industry awareness and competitor intelligence gathering, to enable devise new ways of keeping ahead of the competition.
- Protect and promote the company’s brand name through differentiation and excellence.
- Prompt submission of quality performance reports, within set timelines.
