About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially specializing in areas such as product design, engineering, or food technology based on your expertise.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage students to explore design briefs, experiment with materials, and utilize modern manufacturing techniques, with a focus on sustainable and ethical design practices.
- Assess student progress through project work, design portfolios, and practical assessments, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to extracurricular design clubs and competitions, potentially incorporating projects with a social or ethical dimension.

Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or a related field.
- A strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and current technologies relevant to your specialism.
- Proficiency in relevant software and experience with workshop equipment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to the school's Catholic ethos and values, with an awareness of the ethical implications of design and technology.
