Technical BI Consultant Role
As our Technical BI Consultant, you…
- believe that intelligent insights in data will significantly improve one’s whole business, and are convinced that BI reporting is a must-have in our service-portfolio towards our clients
- are responsible for designing the technical architecture needed to fulfill our client’s needs
- interact with customers, maturing initial descriptions into solid and comprehensive reporting requirements, and further translate these requirements into a working, performant reporting solution
- help guide the customer to the Reporting solution best fit for each requirement
- guard the right balance between flexibility, reusability & maintenance costs
As a Technical Consultant you will..
- possess a min. 4 years of technical Business Intelligence experience in a Microsoft environment
- have experience with multi-dimensional and tabular modeling
- have thorough knowledge of the Microsoft BI-Suite: PowerBI, Azure SQL, DAX query language, SSRS (Reporting Services), SSAS (Analysis Services), SSIS (Integration Services), Power Pivot etc.
- have knowledge of Microsoft’s Cloud Offering, specifically of the components used for data processing and reporting: Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, … and general Azure development and security approach and best practices
- have a good understanding of Microsoft D365 for Finance & Operations and Microsoft D365 Customer Service
- can quickly absorb the ins and outs of our UMAX data model (1.000+ tables) and by extension the whole D365 F&O data model (8.000+ tables)
- are capable of working in team (with both BI and functional & technical peers)
