Boutique advisory firm located in Malta offering a wide and varied portfolio of clients urgently needs a Senior Lawyer to join their growing and ambitious team. As their Senior Lawyer you would be working within a close nit and ambitious team that will encourage and support you to grow into a successful legal professional.
Up to €55k
Role and Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and updating of contracts and agreements, and internal policies
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory documents for the incorporation of new entities
- Supporting in the preparation and filing of statutory documents for the transferring shares between existing shareholders or new investors
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks
- Providing recommendations and implementing policies and procedures in order to enhance legal compliance and risk management
- Keeping up to date with professional qualifications and best practice
- Liaising with clients, professional advisors and regulatory bodies
- Assisting clients in company incorporation and maintenance, company structuring and restructuring
- Conducting legal research on various points of law and providing consolidated legal opinions on queries.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Possess a law degree
- Experience in working in a one or more of the following areas: corporate, maritime law, international taxation, or international business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must - other languages are considered an asset
