Core ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills to manage diverse patient needs.
- Continuously monitor patient conditions and promptly address any changes in status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Educate and support patients’ families, providing them with the necessary knowledge and comfort during challenging times.
Schedule and Shift Details
● 36 hours/ 3 days a week guaranteed
required
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
- Medical/Surgical (MedSurg)
Essential Qualifications for an ICU RN
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NH
- Minimum of one year of experience in a critical care or ICU setting preferred.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA ACLS) or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS) or Advanced Trauma Life Support(ATLS) certifications required.
- ANY of the following CCRN or PCCN
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to react swiftly in high-pressure environments.
