An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced SENCO to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kensington from April 2025. This role can be full-time or part-time, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the SEND provision across the school, ensuring high-quality support for all pupils with additional needs
- Managing and coordinating EHCPs, interventions, and support plans in collaboration with staff, parents, and external agencies
- Providing advice, training, and guidance to teachers and support staff to ensure best SEND practices are implemented
- Monitoring pupil progress and working closely with the leadership team to develop inclusive teaching strategies
- Ensuring the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and policies
Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and NASENCO qualification (essential)
- Experience working as a SENCO in a primary school
- Strong knowledge of SEND policies, EHCP processes, and inclusive education strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff
- A passion for ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
