Your Role as a Design and Technology Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3-KS5, covering Resistant Materials, Product Design, and Engineering principles.
- Encourage students to develop technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity in design projects.
- Ensure safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and machinery in a well-managed workshop environment.
- Support students in coursework and practical assessments, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as engineering clubs, competitions, and school projects.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified DT Teacher with QTS and a strong background in design, engineering, or product design.
- A passion for hands-on learning and the ability to inspire students with practical applications of DT concepts.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
