We are delighted to be working with an Outstanding-rated mixed school in Barnet to recruit a Health & Social Care Teacher. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Health & Social Care up to KS5, supporting students in understanding the principles of healthcare, social work, and community services.

Responsibilities
• Teach Health & Social Care across KS3, KS4, and KS5, fostering a real-world understanding of the subject
• Guide students in coursework, case studies, and vocational learning experiences
• Support students in preparing for BTEC and A-Level assessments
• Work collaboratively to enhance the curriculum with contemporary health and social issues
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as healthcare mentoring schemes and work experience placements
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Health & Social Care, Education, or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Health & Social Care up to KS5
