About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Product Development Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of engineering-based projects. This role focuses on planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, communicate, and implement operational plans for engineering projects, including infrastructure, facilities, and equipment.
- Prepare designs, project controls, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and ensure seamless production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress, addressing operational challenges, and minimizing delays.
- Identify, develop, and manage resources required for project completion.
- Develop engineering standards, project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage the selection of materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
- Provide coaching and guidance to teams on project management best practices.
- Lead large, high-complexity projects with significant impact on the business.
- Analyze and solve complex problems with minimal oversight.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in product development project management.
- Proven ability to manage high-complexity projects end-to-end.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and delegating to team members.
- Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
