About the Sociology & HSC Department:
The Sociology and Health and Social Care department is a collaborative, supportive, and driven team dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of these important subjects. Responsibilities:
- Teach Sociology and Health and Social Care to KS4 and KS5 students
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Provide pastoral care and undertake form tutor responsibilities
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Sociology, Health and Social Care, or a related field
- PGCE or QTS
- Experience teaching Sociology and Health and Social Care to KS4 and KS5 students
- ECTs are encouraged to apply
