Your Mission as a Logistics Supervisor
As a Logistics Supervisor, your primary goal is to oversee and manage logistics operations within a designated area or basin. You'll be at the helm of finding cost-efficient solutions while ensuring the maximum level of service quality to field operations. Leading a team of logistics specialists, you will play a crucial role in fostering their growth and enhancing our operational capabilities.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Logistics Supervisor
- Ensuring on-time, competitive logistics support to Operations.
- Leading and managing a team of logistics specialists, including training, competency assessment, and development.
- Acting as the first point of contact for operational logistics issues.
- Implementing and supporting logistics cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations, including safety and transport laws.
- Reporting and investigating Service Quality incidents promptly.
- Managing relationships with logistics service providers to maintain high service standards.
- Engaging with internal customers for regular business and service quality reviews.
- Optimizing rental fleet utilization and truck capacity.
- Developing and executing Mobilization/Demobilization forecasts in collaboration with Operations.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Logistics Supervisor
- Proven experience in Drilling logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems.
- Familiarity with safety management principles and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
