Overview:
We are seeking a Backend/Platform Developer to join a highly skilled team in Warsaw, supporting the Structured Notes business. This role is part of a global team structure, collaborating with colleagues in the US and APAC regions. The position requires strong English skills for effective communication in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation platforms for structured notes trading and issuance.
- Focus on backend development using Java microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless platform functionality and enhancements.
- Manage a balanced workload split between maintenance tasks and new feature development.
- Take ownership of the full value chain, providing diverse technical exposure and immediate impact on platform usage.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in Java development (mandatory).
- Experience with Vertex and Jersey framework (Spring framework also acceptable).
- Familiarity with Kafka for communication between components.
- Knowledge of MongoDB and Elasticsearch for data storage.
- Occasional work with Python may be required.
