Job Summary
The Associate Attorney is responsible for handling foreclosure matters for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the foreclosure process on behalf of our clients.
This Associate Attorney plays a key role in the Foreclosure practice, directly supporting our clients through the legal foreclosure process. The position is essential for advancing cases efficiently and in compliance with state laws, ensuring the firm's high standard of legal service is upheld. Working within a collaborative legal team, the attorney will manage a significant caseload, represent clients in various legal proceedings, and serve as a critical point of contact between the firm and its clients. This role ensures that all foreclosure cases progress timely while maintaining compliance, quality, and professionalism.
As a member of the Foreclosure team, youll gain experience with both routine and contested matters, attend hearings and mediations, and develop strong client-facing legal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure related pleadings.
- Handle all aspects of foreclosure matters including contested foreclosures.
- Regular client meetings/updates.
- Experience participating in contested foreclosure matters, mediations, depositions, and hearings.
- Familiarity with client systems and electronic communication tools.
- High proficiency in problem-solving, organizational skills, and deadline-driven work.
- A client-focused mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to legal challenges.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate.
- Member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar.
- Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone).
- Provides exceptional client service.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance.
- Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
