Your Role as SEN Teaching Assistant:
🔹 Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs in a mainstream setting.
🔹 Assist with differentiated lessons in core subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
🔹 Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel supported and confident.
🔹 Work alongside the SENCO and class teachers to implement IEPs and ensure tailored learning approaches.
🔹 Track and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
🔹 Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, ensuring they feel safe and engaged in their learning journey.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role within a primary school.
✅ A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children.
✅ A strong understanding of SEN strategies and differentiation techniques.
✅ Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
✅ A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
