About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons to Key Stages 3-5, including A-Level, focusing on developing students' skills in a variety of artistic mediums and techniques.
- Plan and deliver lessons that incorporate a variety of artistic styles and perspectives.
- Assess student progress through artwork, presentations, and written assessments, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a dynamic and engaging Art curriculum.
- Organize and lead art exhibitions, workshops, and gallery visits, promoting student engagement and fostering a love of art.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate artistic perspectives into the wider curriculum.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Art and Design.
- Experience teaching Art to A-Level, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate girls.
- A strong understanding of diverse artistic mediums and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for engaging young minds in the study of art.
- A commitment to promoting girls' achievement in the arts.
