About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and varied Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering music theory, history, composition, and performance.
- Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of musical interests and abilities.
- Assess student progress through practical performances, compositions, written work, and aural tests, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the vibrant extracurricular musical life of the school, including leading or assisting with school ensembles and choirs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music.
- A strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance practices.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for music and the ability to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the subject.
