For one of our customers, we are seeking an experienced Accountant – Securitization to manage and oversee accounting activities related to securitization structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and transaction management within securitization and structured finance. This role involves working closely with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Role & Responsibilites:
Accounting & Financial Reporting

Manage the accounting and financial reporting of securitization vehicles in compliance with IFRS, Lux GAAP, or other applicable accounting frameworks.
- Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and other required disclosures.
- Ensure accurate recording of securitization transactions, including asset purchases, liability recognition, and revenue allocations.
- Oversee reconciliations, financial controls, and ledger maintenance for securitization structures.
Regulatory & Compliance

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including reporting obligations under Luxembourg regulations, IFRS, and other relevant frameworks.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial audits and compliance reviews.
- Stay updated on evolving regulations and accounting standards impacting securitization structures.
Transaction Management & Structuring

Support securitization structuring by assessing accounting and financial implications of new deals.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and structuring teams to ensure proper financial treatment of securitized assets.
- Assist in the implementation of new securitization transactions, including initial setup and ongoing financial management.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

Liaise with external parties such as auditors, regulators, investors, and service providers.
- Work closely with internal finance, treasury, and risk teams to optimize financial processes.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Profile
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on securitization, structured finance, or financial services.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of securitization structures and accounting principles (IFRS, Lux GAAP, US GAAP, etc.).
- Experience with financial reporting, consolidation, and SPV accounting.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as CSSF regulations, EU securitization rules, and IFRS 9.
