What You’ll Be Doing
As a Year 3 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and Delivering Engaging Lessons: Design exciting and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring that each lesson meets the diverse needs of the children in your class.
- Fostering a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a warm and inclusive environment where students feel safe and motivated to learn.
- Tracking and Assessing Progress: Regularly assess student progress, set clear targets, and provide feedback that encourages growth and improvement.
- Supporting Personal Development: Help Year 3 students build key skills, independence, and confidence, preparing them for the challenges of the next phase of their education.
- Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with fellow teachers and support staff to share ideas, best practices, and deliver a cohesive curriculum that benefits every student.
- Engaging with Parents and Guardians: Develop strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and supporting them in their child's learning journey.
- Contributing to School Life: Participate in school-wide activities, events, and initiatives that promote the values and ethos of the school.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Year 3 Teacher who:
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 3.
- Is passionate about teaching and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Is creative and flexible, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Is a team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues to improve the learning experience for all students.
- Has excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
