Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 5 students in literacy, numeracy, and beyond.
- Foster a positive, dynamic classroom environment where students feel motivated and excited to learn.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear, achievable targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to an innovative and engaging curriculum.
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, offering updates on student progress and supporting their learning journey.
- Take part in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities, contributing to the school’s overall success and community.
Who We’re Looking For
- A qualified Year 5 Teacher with a passion for working with Key Stage 2 children.
- QTS or an equivalent qualification is required.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to deliver it effectively in Year 5.
- A teacher who is dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment and building positive relationships with students.
- Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is enthusiastic about sharing ideas and best practices.
