We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our excellent school community in Lichfield. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative mathematics lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, focusing on fostering a deep understanding of mathematical principles.
- Develop and implement a mathematics curriculum that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and application of mathematical concepts in real-life situations.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, offering constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and challenging classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the mathematics department to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and participate in continuous professional development.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about student progress and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at KS3, KS4, and KS5 level.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to teach a wide range of mathematical topics including algebra, geometry, and statistics.
