Role Responsibilities
- Teach Business to KS4 and KS5 students, delivering high-quality lessons that support their learning and exam preparation.
- Develop and implement innovative and engaging teaching methods to inspire students.
- Lead and manage a designated area of responsibility within the Business department as part of the TLR.
- Support and mentor less experienced staff members within the department.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the school.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Business or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Business at KS4 and KS5 level.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE and A-Level Business curriculum.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students in Business studies.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a school is desirable but not essential.
