Role Highlights:

- Teach secondary-aged students with a range of special educational needs, providing differentiated instruction that meets their individual learning needs
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons across a variety of subjects, adapting to students' abilities and ensuring accessibility
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, confident, and motivated to learn
- Work closely with the SENCO and other support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Track and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies and offering feedback to support continued development
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching secondary-aged students, ideally in a special educational needs (SEN) or alternative provision setting
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and differentiation techniques
- A patient, empathetic approach to working with students with a variety of learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS check required
