Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5, focusing on key topics such as business theory, entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards while encouraging critical thinking and practical application of business concepts.
- Assess student progress using a combination of formative and summative assessments, providing valuable feedback to aid development.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and independent learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Business Department to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
- Keep parents and guardians informed about student progress and encourage a strong school-home connection.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching business at KS4 and KS5 level.
